Siida is situated in the village of Inari, in the heart of the Sámi Area of Finland. The village is the second largest population centre of the municipality of Inari, and it provides travellers with a range of high-quality services. By bus to Siida
Will you spend the night in Saariselkä or Ivalo? Do not worry, you can also come to Siida and Inari by public transportation. Siida has arranged for return transportation to Ivalo and Saariselkä on Wednesdays throughout the year.
You can take a regular bus to Inari from Saariselkä and Ivalo. We have arranged for a bus to take visitors back to Ivalo and Saariselkä on Wednesdays throughout the year. Sign for the return transportation on the day before at the hotel receptions in Saariselkä, at Saariselkä Central Booking Agency (Saariselän Keskusvaraamo) or at Siida. The bus that takes you back leaves from the front of the Siida Building at 16.15. You will pay the fare at Siida when you buy the ticket to the museum. The fare for the return trip is EUR 10 to Ivalo and EUR 14 to Saariselkä.
