Photo prints and hard copies that are bigger than A3 or of other qualities cannot be acquired at Siida. If needed, prints and hard copies can be ordered from firms that provide photo processing and printing services.
Publication fee for photographs
1. Museums, schools, associations, societies and private persons
Non-commercial use, e.g. publications, exhibitions, lectures, theses, web pages, and family photographs EUR 25

Prices VAT 0%.
Photocopies and hard copies are usually paid at the Customer Service of Siida. Publication fees are invoiced to the customer. The Sámi Museum has no invoicing charge.Recordings (CD/DVD) and their postage are included in the publication fee. Deliveries abroad are charged according to the real costs of shipping.
The museum will negotiate about photograph editing and the cost of such special measures separately in each case.

Loans from the Sámi Museum’s Collections of Artefacts
There is a fee for borrowing items from the collections of the Sámi Museum to exhibitions; the fee is € 100/item (per exhibition and 6 months). The borrower pays the transportation and exhibition insurances of the item, as well as the cost of its dispatch and return, as agreed jointly by the customer and the museum. The customer will also be charged for the costs of package.
Artifacts are only loaned to museums that are professionally managed. The request for the loan of an item is to be delivered to the Sámi Museum in writing at least two weeks before the artifact is – or artifacts are – to be dispatched.
